MADE BY \"Thomas de la Rue & Co Ltd\" (publisher) IN 1890/1900

The Design is a linen backed paper and card
board and can be used for chess or draughts, covered with strips of card which are pasted in such a way that slots are formed into the paper men can be slid

the surrounding area outside the playing surface may be used for conquered and unused playing pieces
playing pieces/men are of thick paper printed with the appropriate chess symbol on one side and with draughts on the reverse,The board folds in half

and is covered with decorated paper and lettered with the title and publishers\' name
the board come in is own hard cardboard case in black with a lovely \"tone sur tone\" pattern

 

THE DIMENSION ARE 

width: 7.5\" in board when open, height: 6\" in board, height: 6\" in case, width: 3 3/4\" in case

 

 

ITEMS CONDTION

THE WHOLE SET HAS BEEN  HARDLY USED CONSEQUENTLY IS IN LOVELY ANTIQUE CONDITION WITH NO DAMAGES  THE BLACK CASE IS ALSO IN VERY GOOD CONDITION THERE ARE  ONLY FEW LIGHT MARKS HERE AND THERE
