Offering an early 19th century (c.1800-1830s Massachusetts) New England blanket chest. The large sized single board sides are excellent in rust primitive patina, character and age. Old growth pine. There is a collection of various early wrought iron nails throughout. The top is a replacement of a similar vintage attached with late 19th century screws and hinges. Sturdy timeless storage. A heirloom piece with endless contemporary uses.
