Antiqueearly 19thc Blue and white Bourdaloue, or ladies coach or slipper pot inearthenware.

The bourdaloue isapprox. 22cms long and approx 4.5 inches high to the top of the handle.

Decoratedwith a country scene in shades of blue.

Althoughunmarked (apart from a impressed “G”) it is possibly Spode as a similarbourdaloue although in a differentpattern can be seen in “SPODE TRANSFER PRINRED WARE 1784-1833” by David Drakardand Paul Holdway page 294.

Thecondition is very good with just a small repair just on the lip, a firing flawat the top of the handle and little wear commensurate with age.
