ANTIQUE ENGLISH VICTORIAN 15K GOLD FOX HEAD PENDANT w/ LOCKET c1870:

An antique English, solid15 carat gold (tests thereabouts, possibly closer to 18 carat) pendant or large charm; beautifully modelled as a fox head, with tiny red paste eyes, and a little glass locket to the \'neck\'.

Very collectible & perfect for wear on a chain or charm bracelet!

CONDITION:Generally good. Probably converted from a stickpin or similar, some old repair visible. Slight signs of wear commensurate with age and use. Old adhesive to eyes, one possible an old replacement? Denting/distortion to locket bezel, of no consequence - see pictures.

DATE/MARKS: Around 1870/80. Not marked.

DIMENSIONS:19x 15mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.

WEIGHT: Approx. 3.5grams.
