A FINE ANTIQUE 19th CENTURY ENGLISH SILVER PLATE ROTATING WARMING DOME with TWO REMOVABLE TRAYS, HAND CHASED DOME COVER, SMALL IVORY LID HANDLE & STUNNING FIGURAL CATTLE HEAD & HOOVE SUPPORING LEGS... Dates to est. 1870-80.

In excellent estate condition. Needs some polishing only. No plate loss. No dings or dents. Very nice and very usable.

Measures approx. 12" across (10" trays) x 8" deep x 8 1/2" tall.

A very charming piece of silver. The only markings I can found are stamped near the dome knobs. Stamped: PATENT.

Usually these are by Elkington or similar. They're cherished usable pieces that look good when in use or just on display. The figural bull / cow / bovine motif is especially charming!
