This sale is for a very fine piece of art. The frame is made of carved wood, with barley twist columns, and small spires in the gothic, baroque style, and small carved out quatrefoils. It is covered with a heavy and thick gilt gold paint. The angels are just beautiful and the gold paint background just adds to the beauty. The angels are covered with glass. It is such a beautiful piece and yet it is so peaceful and brings me much joy to look at it. I have owned other pieces like this and they were much larger. I have to say that I prefer this smaller size all the more. It is of much finer work, I believe. I do not think anyone will be disappointed owning such a lovely piece of art, and its years add all the more charm and value. God bless you!
