laverlyhere Store FRENCH class=\"MsoNormal\">This is a beautiful antique Frenchgilt bronze easel photograph frame in the Rococo style.

It has a crested top and stands on two fabulous legs. There are lots of delicious scrolling shapes,typical of the French Rococo or Rocaille style.

There is no glass in the frame and on the rear it is a pieceof thick card that backs the frame. Itworks perfectly well but I do not imagine it is original.

There is some rubbing back of the gilding to show the bronzeunderneath. In my opinion this enhancesthe items desirability but it is not for you if you want perfect shiny gilt.

The photograph is a photograph that I have added and it isof a child, dressed in an amazing flounced outfit, which was taken by P. Chilo Photographieof Pau.

The frame measures 23.5 cms by 15.9 cms or 9¼” by 6¼”. It weighs 508 grams or 1.10lbs.

A fabulous fatigued French find.
