Offered for sale is a lovely antique early Georgian silver tankard
A wonderful George I solid silver pint mug or tankard hallmarked for London 1721 by Richard Bayley. It measures approx 10.5 cm high x 13 cm wide including the handle. It is approx 9.5 cm in diameter across the base and 7.5 cm across the top. It weighs approx 292 g. The tankard has a minor repair near the top of the handle and also looks as though the bottom of the handle where it meets the body has had a repair at some point. It is a lovely colour and has a good finish. There are a few minor dings to the body, a good early antique mug
