A beautiful piece of early Georgian jewellery set in rosegold. It has the original glass, under which is a miniature, hand painted, with the words l\'amour soutenu par l\'esperance. Superb workmanship.
There is blue enamel around the edge, with little gold stars (please note slight damage to the enamel on the bottom right hand side).
It has the original pinning on the reverse and is in excellent condition. Circa 1790. Size 1.9 x 1.2 inches (48 x 30mms). Weight 12.97 grams. Circa 1790 . (49621are)
