This is a exceptional antique Japanese \"Cherry Red\" Lacquer bowl, which dates to the 1800s. Possibly older. The original owner believed that this was over 150 years old. By looking at its natural aging of the patina, this bowl shows great age. It is intricate hand painted with a scene of Geisha preparing for tea. Measuring 6.5 inches wide.
