Circa late 19THC-early 1900\'s,our last piece of Irish Youghal lace border with large floral and leaf design.Part of museum deaccession .

Youghal lace (or Point d\'Irlande) is a needle lace inspired by Italian needle lace developed in Youghal, County Cork, Ireland.During the potato famine a collection of nuns and aristocratic and other ladies made efforts to help women and young girls .
