Here is a great old antique Lakota pipe with wickedly skilled inscibed designs and a spectacular 3D carved arrow stem.
HOWEVER THIS PIPE IS GLUED IN 2 SPOTS.......it must have taken a bad spill. Still this is a glorious piece sure to look great on display. Zoom in on the fine inscribed circular design on the axe-like prow and the delightful arrows faceting the stem.The glue job is really so-so. I had considered using a dremel to carve out the glistening glue and trying to insert an artist cement mixed with catlinite dust instead.Then tint the repair for color matching.
