This is a rare piece, great for collectors or simply forsomeonelooking for a beautiful tea pot.This pot bears the mark LS&S (STRAUS, LEWIS &SONS)LIMOGES FRANCE,ca.1890-1920s.The pieceisdecoratedwith blue and white flowers andgreen foliage on a white background. The flowers aretouched up with white enamel. The pot is alsoembellished with purple and heavily gilded scrolls.Brushed gold heavily decorates the rim of the pot,the finial and the handle.A built in strainer is in the spout.The pot is 9 1/2\" with lid and 8\" widefrom spoutto handle.The condition is amazing with no chips, cracks nor repairs.The gold presents some wear, but the rest of the decorationlooks quite intact.The white lines you see in thepictures are due to the glare.The pot will be shipped insured and double boxed.Please see my other items for more Limoges pieces.Pay Pal only and payment in 3 days.California residents pay 7.5% tax but they usuallyreceive ashipping adjustment.
