AboutA mens Omega Military style watch with sub second dial and beautiful dial with loads of character and patina, this watch has a fully working manual OMEGA 430 movement in wonderful condition and operating strong and true. These military style 1950s watches are very fasionable and one in this wonderful condition is hard to find.
It is showing a little age, but in perfect working order and looking divine, this watch is a real 1950\'s talking point, with its beautifully aged dial and heaps of history.Case, Back Plate & BezelThe case is a stainless steel case and in very good condition. The photographs form part of the description.The back plate is solid and fits strong and true with a wonderful, solid click.The back plate shows all the Omega logos and identification numbers as one would expect.
CrownThe Crownoperates as expected, with firm and precise adjustments and winding.
DialThe dial is a wonderful colour with raised markers and raised riveted Omega Logo, as was the assembly process at the time.The dial is a wonder to behold, having been aged with a wonderful and very sought after aged patina.
Crystal / GlassThe glass has some light marks but is generally very good, having no chips or cracks.
HandsThe hands are loverly in themselves, the second hand sweeps with a wonderful perpetual motion.The hands are loverly being gold and striking against the dial and fully complimenting the gold logo and markers.
Bracelet / StrapThe Strap is a brand new, high quality leather starp with new buckle, whilst not Omega, the strap suits the watch, its period and style wonderfully.
MovementThis watch has an original Omega movement that works perfectly, the winding and adjusting of the watch is as it should be and very precise.The movement is an Omega 430 Caliber movement.
