ITEM: You are offerding on a pair of original antique c. 1930s marked Frankart figural metal bookends. This beautiful pair of art deco machine age bookends are made of spelter metal and each retains its original finish with warm original patina. A wonderful example featuring a pair of stylized streamlined Scotty Dogs.
An exciting streamlined example an ideal pair for the collector and bookend enthusiast! Each bookend measures 5 3/4\"tall by 4\" deep by 4 1/3\" across the base and weigh approximately 1 lb. 11 ounces each.

These fine antique spelter metal bookends are in very good condition not better they are structurally sound but both show some damage as seen in close up views along the lower bases , the surface is original and exhibits a nice untouched warm patina as seen with some surface rubbing/wear, the bases have the original felt bottoms , overall a nice pair that display beautifully.
