This is a long wooden walking/hiking stick with an antique (early to mid 1900s) antler horn handle/knob with great patina and a what I believe is sterling silver collar. The cap is silver colored. The antler handle has a slight natural curve to one side. At the base of the handle is a sterling silver collar/band with raised floral designs. The oval upper handle is 3/4 inches in the longest dimension and 5 inches top to bottom including the band/collar; the wooden shaft (which is hardwood hickory) plus handle measuresabout 46 inches long, about 2 inches in circumference and 5/8 inches in diameter. The wood color is a medium brown with a high gloss finish. The tip is covered by a black rubber cap. This stick could be used with care by a heavy/tall person.
