This is a beautiful example of Genova style Plique-A-Jour. Clear, colored enamel over gold washed silver filigree gives the effect of stained glass, when held up to the light.. This type of jewelry became popular in the Victorian era. In excellent condition. It measures only about 3/4\" long, and 3/4\" tall. There ore no abrasions or nicks on the enamel, and shows only very slight signs of wear.
