Original biblical etching from a Dutch Bible printed in 1700. The engravings are by Romeyn De Hooghe and his pupils Lamsvelt/Doesburgh/Lontman. They are based on the series bt Matthias Scheits (1640 - 1700, born Hamburg) from the so called Scheitssche Bibel (Scheitsbible) 0f 1672, a Luther Bible.
