This is an original vintage QUACK MEDICAL DEVICE by Master Electric Comany marketed as Violet Rays. It has the bakelite appliance, a metal electrode (\"delivers stong current is is excellent for general tonic, nervousness, and anemia\") and 4 glass electodes.

I have plugged it in but it doesn\'t seem to go all the way into my outlet so I\'m selling it as is - don\'t know if it works or not. The cord looks pretty good but the plug seems a little worn. The case is quite good. It\'s a great piece for any collections or as quite a curiosity for display. Some photocopied instructions and pictures for this device are included.
