This afternoon I am starting with a few candy, peanut & popcorn tins, followed by afew seafood cans,then several food related cans (mostly with Native American Indian graphics) and I will end this evening with several dessert, gelatin and misc. country store items.I will be listing several hundred tins over a four or five day period. WHAT A GREAT ADVERTISING TIN WITH FUNCTIONAL CHOCOLATE GRATER BUILT IN!!! THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST UNUSUAL TINS I HAVE EVER FOUND! IT IS VERY EARLY! IT THE PACKAGE COMBINED WITH GRATER IS PATENTED ACCORDING TO THE ADVERTISING ON BACK. GREAT EARLY GRAPHICS AROUND ALL THE EDGES. THERE IS SOME WEAR. THE TOP SHOWS MANY SMALL NICKS THROUGHOUT. IF YOU RUB IT WITH YOUR FINGER THOUGH... THERE IS NO FLAKING. THERE ARE A FEW DARKER SPOTS AS WELL AS PICTURED. EACH OF THE FOUR SIDES SHOWS SOME SIMILAR WEAR BUT ONLY ONEEND SIDE SHOWS CONSIDERABLE WEAR. AGAIN... YOU CAN RUB THE LITHOGRAPHY AND THERE IS NO FLAKING. THERE ARE A FEW RUBS, ETC. THE BOTTOM SIDE ADVERTISING IS GREAT...WORTH THE READ. THE COLORS ARE BEAUTIFUL. IT IS THE BUILT IN GRATER THOUGH THAT MAKES THIS TIN OVER-THE-TOP COOL!!! PLEASE SEE ALL THE PICTURES AND PLEASE ENLARGE THEM! I WISH THERE WAS A LITTLE LESS WEAR... BUT FOR A TIN THAT WAS USED AS A GRATER AND IS PROBABLY 125 YEARS OLD... I THINK IT LOOKS WONDERFUL!!!
