This is a SAKTA, a type of Latvian folk art jewelery, very similar to the Norwegian SOLJE.

I would first like to point out the holes at the top portion of this item - I have no idea if there\'s something missing from them or if they\'re simply part of the decorations.

Hallmarked on the back of the main portion along with the head/hammer mark on each piece. This would date this between 1927-1954. The city mark is the \"T\", of which I have found conflicting information from that particular age, being either Kostroma or Riga, pre 1928 would be Kostrama. Also marked \"875\" otherwise known as \"84 Silver\", which means it\'s not quite sterling 925 silver. All of these marks are in the shovel shaped cartouche, dating it between 1927-1954.

From very top to bottom his measures just under 2-3/4\" (6.8 cm) tall. Light weight - 7.4 g / .26 oz
