ANTIQUEPorcelain Wash Basin Bowl . This bowl has a lovely hum when gently tapped that resembles a low tone church bell in a tower. Heavy thick quality antique piece

This is huge at 15.5\" wide and 5.5\" tall

This has the most gorgeous pattern I have ever seen on one of the antique bowls. It is a Floral pattern inside and outside, but the huge colorful borderaround the inside is the star of the piece- The colors are vivid with a rare Teal color, purple andMagenta Garland. The rim again is a brilliant Cobalt Blue withGold filigree overlay. The colors on this are very unusual and also very eye catching.

This is marked on bottom: \"Doulton Burslem England\" and it is hand numbered to. This stamp dates this piece between 1891-1902, according to several encyclopedia on the mark I have researched. This is well over 100 yrs old and true antique.

Condition, This piece does have an old repair on the rim. There is 2 pictures above that show a place on the outside of the rim where it was chipped & thenpatched with a hardfiller material to reshape the rim- It can be repainted easily with some matched cobalt blue paint and finished off with a simple gold line for the trim to cover this area. You can also leave it as it is and turn the bowl to the wall because this chip is not really noticeable from the inside of the bowl as its on the outside of the rim. I would personally paint it if I planned on keeping itbecause no one would notice it then, it would not be hard for anyone to do. The rest of it is in amazing condition

*Damaged in shipment*... All of my items are insured against damage in transit. All insurance claims are filed online now & there may be a delay in how long it takes the insurance company to process the refund, also USPS claims may require items to be physically taken the post office for inspection should they ask for them- often photos are not enough for the claim to be processed.
*Items lost in shipment or not received*... If they are lost in transit, we will be required to wait the specified time by the shipper to file the insurance claim- there is no other way to do this as that is their rules and we will have to wait their time limits.
