Antique signed APT (Frankart) Elephants novelty lamp
Art Deco Era
New York City is a wonderful antique Art Deco era Novelty lamp, made and signed by the APT Novelty Co. (APT was a direct competitor of Frankart, also located in NYC in the 1930s)The lamp stands 11 inches high with the shade mounted and about 5 inches wide at the base. The lamp has its original textured pattern glass shade. The textured shade has some tiny pattern chips and rough spots as is usual for this type of old shade. No cracks. The lamp has been rewired and the wire is silk covered cloth. The pictures may show variations in color due to the flash on my camera. The pictures don\'t do it justice!
