A SERVES PORCELAIN CUP AND SAUCER SET
HAND-DECORATEDCOMMEMORATING BATTLE OF LILLEFabulousporcelain cup and saucer set depicting the Battle of Lille. Theset is cobalt blue withvignettesextensively decoratedwith gilded branches painted on the cup and saucer. One vignettes on the cup and two on the saucer. Inside cup is gilded. Interlaced L\'s and l in blue enamel; incised cross within a circle to both pieces.I bought this on in 2000. This is what the other seller said: \"First time seen or offered since 1820, stored in the attic since then. This could be major major find\'. I will provide original document to the buyer.

I tried my best with the pictures but there\'s a light reflections and some

distortion to color.

CONDITION:

Excellent, slightwear to gilding inside the cup, it was always a collectable.

No repairsor cracks. Tiny chip on the bottom of the cup foot above \'de\' but can only be felt (picture #10) and on the top of the cup near the handle (picture #8). Ahairline in the center of the saucer to the left but can\'t be felt (picture #4)

MEASUREMENTS:

Cup Top Diameteris approx.3.6 inches (9 cm).

Cup Foot Diameter is approx.1.6 inches (4 cm)

Cup Height is approx.2 inches (5 cm)

Saucer Diameter is approx. 5.5 inches (14.5 cm)
