THIS sale IS FOR A UNIQUE TORTOISE FAN THAT IS RARE AND ESTIMATEDTO DATE FROM 1850-THROUGH 1880..I BOUGHT A COLLECTION OF FANS AND THIS WAS ONE OF THEM..IT IS ABOUT 15 INCHES BY 8 INCHES HIGH.. IT IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION BUT THE RIBBON HAS BEEN REPLACED. THIS WAS DONE WITH A THICKER RIBBON..IT DISPLAYS GREAT NOW BUT MAY SHOW SOME UNEVENESS IN THE FUTURE..
