Antique, Unusual Persian bronze figural Inkwell - Qajar dynasty, circa 1880.
Beautifully formed as a full-bodied song bird perching on a tree stamp.
Nicely detailed with good head features and feathering on the bird.
The back wings open on a hinge to reveal the original porcelain or pottery insert that is held in place by clay.
Very good, original condition - no losses or repairs - great age patina - please view detailed pictures.
