Antique Victorian Bracelet….

This is not only an unusual bracelet, it is extremely well made.

In the Etruscan style with triangles of beadwork set in geometricframes and then bordered with plain and rope twist.

The workmanship is of extremely high quality and this is echoed inthe hidden fastening (see pictures below).

In high carat yellow gold it has an excellent patina dates toaround 1860 and is all original.

It is in excellent condition, however upon close inspection andonly when putting away, I noticed that there is 4 lines of rope-work missingfrom the plain rear/back of the bracelet. Obviously, this is not noticeablewhen the bracelet is worn.

The bracelet is solid gold (not plated or gold filled) the constructionis hollow but the gauge of the metal is thick enough to have survived undentedfor over 150 years.

Size: The inner circumference of the bracelet is 7 ½” (19cm).

There are no marks on the bracelet at all & it is not unusualto find Victorian jewellery unmarked. I have tested the bracelet, it tests as over15ct and I guarantee it to be so.
