A beautiful and rare antique Victorian / Art Nouveau silver and enamel pendant / brooch / watch pendant, exquisitely formed as a Pansy flower. With traditional Pansy colours, violet, yellow and white, finely enamelled, in incredible detail, very life like. The centre is set with a sparkling diamond paste stone in a claw setting. This unique piece is beautifully made, with adjoining silver loops holding the petals together on the reverse, an open C clasp pin, and a curved open loop bale for suspending on a chain. This stunning little Art Nouveau flower looks wonderful on a silver chain - please see pics, it sits elegantly against the skin. There is some enamel loss to the back of the piece, not really an issue, and there is a small hairline crack on one of the petals, shown in pictures. With some very very light nibbling to the edges looking under an eye glass, a super gorgeous piece of Art Nouveau jewellery. Simply stunning to wear, delicate and fabulously feminine. Measures approximately 2.8cm x 2.5cm. A beautiful piece.
