Beautiful antique victorian side chair, circa 1890. Incredible carving to the piece. I believe the wood is mahogany, could be walnut. Maintains it\'s original finish, castors on the two front legs. Beautifully upholstered in an elegant green velvet with button tufted accents and embellished around the edges with a unique trim. Chair is in amazing condition, very sturdy and strong. Upholstery is quite excellent. Has 8 way hand tied springs for the cushion, which is found only in the high end pieces, very uncommon in today\'s furniture. Springs are in excellent condition......sits well and is very comfortable.Makes a great accent piece to a formal room or a bedroom. Could be used for a vanity chair as well.Measures: 39\" in overall height, 22\" in width and 20\" in depth.Difficult to find and in such excellent condition.
