I will be disposing of some very unusual and scarce mechanical pencils over the next few weeks, so keep me pegged for more unique mechanisms and little seen patent examples.
This is for an old Victorian antique figural novelty pencil fashioned as a door key. It dates to the late 1800s and it is fully working, it simply twists at the top and the mechanism inside propels the oversize lead from the front. It is in excellent condition, with no dings or dents and it has a smooth action in propelling the lead...just as you would want to find it. I haven\'t seen this example before. It measures 128mm long.
