Beautiful early 1900\'s Armand Marseille 990 bisque Character Baby bent limb doll. I\'m not a doll expert, but this is one of the largest (I believe the largest is 26\") and most valuable of the bisque Armand Marseille 990 Character Baby bent limb dolls and somewhathard to find. She has gorgeous brown eyes with most ofthe original eyelashes, rosy cheeks, an open mouth with two front teeth and a felt tongue. I didn\'t see any chips or cracks on her head, but there is aslightly noticeableseam on one side, some glue residue from an old wig and some small white spots on the front of her neck. Her wig isvintage, but not original to her. It\'snot attachedandhas a label that readssize 13,Made in USA.

Her body is composition and a little scuffed, but looks original with no repairs or repaints. There is some missing composition from a leg socket and there are three slight cracks (oneat a leg socket, one at an arm socket andone betweenher legs). The cracks are slight, so not overly noticeable.It looks like her body is marked Sah Co. and her arms and legs are marked 65, (also someone penciled inthe number 2 on them). Her hands and feet are good. Her large toes stick up slightly and her hands have red outlining.

She is wearing an antiquecream lace nightgown, peach silk coat and bonnet thatlook great on her, but once removed you can see holes and rust stains that needmending andcleaning. I don\'t know how to repair antique clothing correctly, but it is very valuable.

She measures 24\" or 25\" long depending on whether you include the pate on her head. The back of her head is marked Armand Marseille Germany 990 A 15 M.

All and all she displays gorgeous for a dollthat is close to or over 100 years old and is rareto findin this larger size with brown eyes.
