A hickory shafted BUNNY RANGEFINDER putter by the DonaldsonManufacturing Company, Ltd. of Glasgow, Scotland.Vintage is circa 1930 I believe. These putters are not easy to find. Absolutely no rust or pitting to this rustlessmetal club head. All stampings bold andfully readable. This club head isextremely heavy. I would imagine theweight is do to the large bronze or brass plug in the center of the club head. Headshows some light bag marking, nothing large or unsightly by any means. Hosel pin appears to be the original with anice dark patina. This club has a woodenshaft that is original. Shaft isstamped, ‘Rangefinder” as is the club head.Shaft remains straight. Hoseljoin is flush and tight. Newer 15 ½ inchleather wrap grip is intact over underlisting and in the proper style for thisputter and period. These originally camewith grips this length. This beautifulputter measures 33 ¼ inches. This clubhas not been cut down; these Bunny putters all came relatively short. I’ve had originals as short as 31 ¼ inches.
