Offering an antique/vintage pewter mold used for ice cream, chocolate, or butter. It was made originally for ice cream primarily. Ice cream was made in a hand operated freezer much like we might use today. When the ice cream was somewhat stiff, it was pressed into both halves of the mold and closed tightly and then placed in ice to completely freeze into the figure. It was made by Eppelsheimer & Company (E&Co.), NY in the early part of the 20th century. The mold is in very good original condition with the original hinge pin. Take advantage of this opportunity to have a quality mold in a difficult to find pattern. It measures 4 3/8\"± tall by 7 3/4\"± wide when open or 2 1/2\"± wide when closed.
