Born in New York, Henshaw is know for his California scenes.

Exhibited: Salons of America, 1934; Society of Independent Artists, 1941, 1944. Works held: Brooklyn Museum.

Painting is signed at lower right corner. An exceptional work, certainly worthy of further research.

Painting is on 16\" x 20\" stretched canvas, and displayed in its original 21.5\" x 25.5\" gold wood frame.

Painting is in excellent condition, with absolutely no rips, tears, scuffs, scratches, holes, or repairs, and no touchups or overpaint. Frame displays beautifully, with very minor surface scuffs, as shown.
