. Features: This is a very nice older vintage (art deco era, early 1900\'s) super heavy pendant necklace. Both pendant and chain are all made of sterling silver with pendant havingdome round cabochon cut black onyx stone of excellent quality. Stone is approx 16.8 cts. Both pendant and chain are made approx same era.Pendant is highly collectible. Has very impressive earlier smith workmanship in an eye catching art deco tribal arts and crafts unique design. Chain is also beautifully handcrafted as well, having impressive smith workmanship , beautifully hand laced with hand soldered oval shaped links with slide hook clasp for reliable and secured fastening.Total issuper heavy. Weighs66.6grams . (Pendant alone is49.7 grams. Chain alone is16.9 grams). It came from our family heirloom\'s earlier 1900\'s jewelry collection. Pendant is likely from a South American country in origin. Both pendant and chain were very well kept and in excellent condition.Measurements:Chain isan ideal length ofnearly20 1/2inches (as in 20.4 inches long) with main bodywidth of about 4.5 mm. Pendant is about 2.2 inches tall and 2 inches wide. Stone is 28 mm by 28 mm with depth of approx 3 mm .Hallmarks and Marks: Pendant has sterling mark \"925\" (located on back of main body).
