The condition of this Gucci bag is excellent for age and very good by today\'s standards. Its surrounding red stripes are unusual and classy. The navy blue leather piping and leather band on the sides and base adds beauty and sleekness. The navy blue leather piping is intact but shows minor wear. The wear has not affected the integrity of the leather, but it can be seen (although minimally) on the front of the purse to the far right on the outer edge of the slip pocket. The flash actually enhances this area more than what can be seen with the naked eye or a magnifying glass. The red stripes are flanked on both sides with a narrow strip of navy blue which then circle the perimeter of the purse.
The navy blue jacquard material is both vivid in its color as well as sharp with its intricate small (micro) G design. The jacquard material is exquisite in all areas of the purse.
The navy blue leather shoulder strap is without major signs of wear. There is no permanent marking on the strap which would show favor to a hole (3 holes total) for the buckle insert. The navy blue color is still bright and the strap is without stiffness or dryness. The gold buckle is still shiny.
The gold tone hardware in front is sharp and has minimal to no scuffing. There is a minimal amount of dullness to the sides of this hardware. Theinter-lockinggold G\'s are on leather which is inset and surrounded by the gold-colored hardware forming a slightly rounded rectangle. The interior of the slip pocket is clean and the lining is without peeling. The pocket is kept secure with a strong leather slip tab which slides into or out of the front initialed hardware. The zipper pull for the zippered main entrance to the purse reads, \'Gucci\' and below that, \'Italy.\'
The inside of this purse reveals a side zippered pocket, the Gucci tag, and the authenticity code on the reverse side. This number reads \' 001-418-4795.\' The inside is made of soft pigskin, which is starting to show wear near the entrance of the purse (on the underside of the zipper to 1\" down the side.) It is not flaking off, but the majority of signs of use is most present in this area. There is some \'looseness\' to the skin and some wearing and perhaps fading of the navy blue color, but I would consider this less than moderate, and the overall condition to still be very near excellent.
