Very pretty little porcelain terrier puppy by Goebel in the form of a perfume lamp or night light with amber glass eyes that glow when lit from within. In excellent condition.

Top quality, white translucent porcelain. Lifelike amber glass eyes: perforations at bottom and top to allow heat from a night lightto vent: long pocket at the back to hold liquid perfume. All beautifully made.

Marks: Base is marked withan impressed crown and \"WG\"(for William Goebel) a mark used in the 1930s & 1940s. Also a green GERMANY stamp and an impressed mold number \"404\".

Date: Late 1930s/1940s.

Condition: Excellent.Perfect shine to the glaze, looks like it was made yesterday. Absolutely no cracks, chips, hairlines, crazing or repairs. There is no lamp or light with it.

Size:Figurine isjust short of6 inches (15 cm)high.
