Up for offer is a gorgeous vintage Easter postcard. The artist has skillfully used color and detail to illustrate a lovely lithographic illustration of post-Victorian children dressed in period attire. The boy is entertaining the girl and 2 lambs by playing a flute. A pussy willow branch flanks the scene at the right. Gold has been used to highlight this illustration. When you supersize image 1 you will see the care the artist used to detail this scene. The colors are splendid!

The picture does not do justice to the beauty of this card--it must be seen in person to be fully appreciated.

Printed in pre-WWI Germany, this beautifully embossed postcard was published by PFB (Paul Finkenrath of Berlin) and is numbered 6782 Relief, 6785 Brilliant. It has been postally used and has a cancellation with an unreadable date across the one-cent stamp on the divided back.

This beautiful antique is waiting to be added to your PFB or Easter postcard collection. It can be yours, but you have to offer now.
