Description

This is a superbly modelled figurine manufactured by the Volkstedter factory in Volkstedt Germany.

It depicts a lady seated on a rocky seat surrounded by flowers and unusual foliage. She is resting and has slipped off her shoes. It is a highly elaborate figure with great detail and superb hand painting. The group is completed with typical gold scroll base plinth and further elaborate detailing.

Condition Report

The figure is in very good display condition with no immediately obvious chips, cracks, crazing or restoration. There are some small chips to the foliage as shown ringed but this is not immediately apparent and the figure still shows superbly. It is considered to be an unusual model.

Stamped to the base with the blue Volkstedt hayfork crossed marking (as shown in the attached photograph for your reference).

We prefer payment by Paypal but will accept payments drawn on a UK bank account in Sterling if made by prior arrangement.

Delivery Detail

The item will be delivered by Royal Mail First Class unless otherwise requested.

Overseas

The item will be shipped using Royal Mail Air Mail unless otherwise requested.

Surface Mail

Due to the unfortunate reputation of surface mail shipping we are afraid that we will not insure any item transported in this way. Any such delivery will be undertaken entirely at your own risk. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Insurance

Your item will be insured against loss or damage .

If normal delivery option is quaoted then signed for deliveries can also be requested at the end of the sale at a cost of an additional 95p for UK buyers or £3.50 for overseas.

Exceptions - Customers from the Russian Federation please note that we will only send items by Royal Mail Signed For and that the additional £3.50 charge will be added at the end of the sale.

Packing

All our items are packed securely, with a combination of chippings and bubble wrap to ensure safe delivery.

Combined Shipping

We will always combine shipping for multiple purchases to give you the cheapest possible delivery costs. Packages weighing up to 2kg will be sent via Royal Mail. Packages in excess of 2kg may be sent by courier if this is more cost effective for you.

If you have purchased multiple items please wait for an invoice before making your payment.

Exceptions - Customers in the Russian Federation please note that we will only combine shipping up to a maximum of 2kg. We will not ship by courier to these destinations.

Import Customs Duty

Overseas customers should bear in mind that import duties may be liable on any goods sold by us to individuals who reside outside of the EU. We will not be responsible for any customs duties levied and on purchasing goods from Premier Pottery you accept all responsibility for any fees applied.
