You areofferding on a museum quality vase form by widely collected British ceramist Alan Wallwork.
DESCRIPTION: This exceptional example of AlanWallwork’s “seed-pod” vases has three lobes that are separated from one anotherby a series of vertical piercings.There are also seven holes of varying sizes toward the top of the vasewhere the lobes converge. A richlytextured pitted and distressed grayish clay body with white and rust highlightscontributes to the “organic” nature of the piece.
Thishighly collectible vase stands 4 ¾” tall and measure 4” at its widest. It is in mint condition- no chips, cracks orrepairs- and has the potter’s incised initials on the bottom.
