This issue has all the best. A Capt. America story, Human torch, Sub Mariner plus, great artwork and super clean copy. There are 2 small pieces of tape on the inside front cover where the crease is. All the early Timely comics were printed in Waterbury Ct. then sent to Meriden Ct. for binding and mailing. The factory building is still here. Many of the early comics were taken home for the young ones to read. My father worked there in 1940\'s and then again in the early 1960\'s. We would bring coffee to the workers as it was a short walk from the house and they would toss us a comic. F.F. #1 was one of those. As with all us of my age my mother would toss some of my comics while I was at school so many went the way of the dump. This is one of those that was in a collection for many years and survived. So it is a really nice copy with some stress on the wartime one staple. Cover is tight, nice color all around, no rips or tears. This would be a great addition to your Timley collection.
