The earliest set of Bronze Sconces from the E. F. Caldwell Company I have ever owned. The detail is amazing, the quality unmatched, the weight is extraordinary. Each sconces weighs 20 pounds is is almost 24\" tall. These aresubstantialsconces! They date from 1898, just a few years after the foundingof the Edward F. Caldwell Co. in New York City. I have also included an image from the archives.Only issue noted on these very solid sconces is the base finial of one is slightly bent, probably placed one the ground and the weight bent it.
