Hindu India -dating from the 18th/19th century.Cast in copper alloy (brass) using the lost wax process.
Of Chola form, a Deepalakshmi oil lamp standing above an integral dished pedestal base. The outstretched arms hold an integral tapering oil reservoir - the \'V\' form projection locates the lamp wick.
Image 12, details the reverse and shows the long central hair plait.Overall height - 7 7/8\", (200mm).
Weight - 695 grams.

Condition - Very Good. Signs of genuine age and usage. Minor bruises and surface marks, also consistent with genuine age and usage. Fine natural colour and patina.
