Here is exquisitesterling silver tea caddy heavily chased with iris and applied 18ctgold leaves and highlights, together with a gold/enamel dragon fly, Stella Campion, London 1977.

Stella Campion hasachieved many prestigious awards throughout her career. She has madea number of pieces for colleges and churches around the country.These include the rare hanging pyx for the University Church of St.Mary the Virgin and a pair of chalices for Christchurch Cathedral.

In 2012 she madethe Pectoral Cross for the new Bishop of Winchester.

This, however, isall background information.

What is the realstar is this tea caddy, that encapsulates all the skill and artistryof a true genius.

The heavily chasediris are a beautiful contrast to the delicate gold highlights andpetals, and also to the fragility of the dragonfly.

Not very old,true, but I am not selling an antique.

The Silver Jubileeprobably attaches some significance, as it was made in 1977.
