This Unusual antique folk art sewing box I think dates to around 1900, the box is made of wood and card and is covered in sea shells with mirrored sides and a pin cushion on the top of the lid which has printed A Present From Great Yarmouth as seen in the photos, the different shaped and coloured sea shells give a great effect and give a snap shot of seaside presents from the period, the box has a lid that lifts up to reveal a decorative paper lined interior, the box measures 9 x 5 x 3.5 inches and in good condition just a couple of small shells missing
