An Inlaid Anglo Indian Box

This Anglo Indian box is constructed from solid sandalwood

the top sides front and back are profusely

inlaid with black white and sandalwood creating a tumbling block form

and a metal inlaid banding around the edge of the box

this type of work is known as sadeli and made in Bombay

the top opens to reveal a sandalwood interior

29 cm x 11cm x 8cm.

This box does not have a key
