Meredith, New Hampshire is the home of the Annalee Doll Collection, where each of their whimsical characters are manufactured. Each year they introduce new characters to their line and many of these have been highly sought after by collectors. We had a collector in our family for a number of years and we have about 50 that we need to find new homes for.
Up for sale is reindeer that dates to 1988 and was item # 1985.
He stands about 9 1/2 inches tall to the top of his antlers and his body is about 8 inches long from the tip of his nose to the tip of his tail. The body is tan with white chest and white inner ears. These character dolls are known for their charming faces and animated look, which were perfected by the owner/designer of the company, Annalee Thorndyke. The faces were hand painted back in the beginning of the company and were said to have been based on the owner\'s own face.
