This pedal features the factory upgraded On/Off fuzz knob so you can leave your pedal plugged in (the audio input jack) on your pedalboard and not drain the battery. All else is as Analogmansuggests for best tone: no LED and no input powerjack. The battery is expected to last hundreds of hours without the LED, and so you get the better toneprovided by using a (non-alkaline) 9 VDC battery (that I\'ve included in the pedal).This pedal is in excellent condition, not gigged, with no modifications or repairs, no velcro on the bottom as this sat on a small rubber mat (my version of a pedalboard).
The remarkable thing about this pedal is that the BC183 (as well as the BC108 and BC109) are IMHO the besttransistors for fuzz, and the fuzz knob combined with your guitar volume knob gives all sorts of tones from solid crunchy overdrive to sharp (Gilmore?) fuzz. This one has the \"Gilmore\"clock facegraphic (inspired by the Pink Floyd Live in Pompeii concert tone, I think).
