Born in 1930, Krasnyansky, was a prominent architectand watercolorist when he left the U.S.S.R. for the United States in 1975, where hefound fertile ground for his aesthetic growth. His life in the United Statesmade aware awareness of the interdependence of architecture, sculptures,painting and applied art.

His knowledge of these diverse disciplines haveshaped his career and found expression in his art. Krasnyansky has developedhis own artistic method, one that has freed him from the constraints oftraditional watercolor techniques.
