ITEM DESCRIPTION
Item Description
Up for your consideration isa Chinese Pottery Figure of an Attendant, Northern Qi Dynasty (550-577 A.D.), the figure depicted with hood and draped garments ribbon-tied beneath his chin, standing with the toes of his shoes visible beneath the hem of his robe. The piece measures10 1/2\" inches tall, and is in excellent condition. There is a noticeable chip to one foot, and some minor scraffing to the extreme edges. The are remnants of white paint throughout, with a more pronounced streaky area at the sides of the figures face. Overall, this is a museum-quality piece that retains the beautiful features of the era. The face is especially exquisite and docile.
